چکیده
We theoretically study the behavior of critical current a thermally-biased tunnel Josephson junction with particular design, in which electrodes are enclosed two different superconducting loops pierced by independent magnetic fluxes. In this setup, gaps can be modified independently through fluxes threading loops. investigate response device as function fluxes, changing asymmetry parameter, i.e., ratio between zero-temperature $\delta=\Delta_{10}/\Delta_{20}$, and temperatures rings. demonstrate magnetically controllable step-like current, emerges even symmetric junction, $\delta=1$. Finally, we discuss optimal working conditions high to small changes flux, reporting good performances transducer, transfer that depends on operating point quality junction.

Quantum noise in current biased Josephson junction
Quantum fluctuations in a current biased Josephson junction, described in terms of the RCSJ-model, are considered. The fluctuations of the voltage and phase across the junction are assumed to be initiated by equilibrium current fluctuations in the shunting resistor. This corresponds to low enough temperatures, when fluctuations of the normal current in the junction itself can be neglected. We u...
متن کاملMagnetic Flux Controlled Josephson Array Oscillators
AbstructOne-dimensional parallel arrays of Josephson junctions have the ability to perform as oscillators tunable hy magnetic flux. We have designed and tested an array impedance matched to a detector junction load. The amplitude and frequency of the array are controlled by the independent variables of magnetic field and current bias. We report on the array's characteristics and compare them to...

متن کامل2 00 7 Flux - biased mesoscopic rings
Kinetics of magnetic flux in a thin mesoscopic ring biased by a strong external magnetic field is described equivalently by dynamics of a Brownian particle in a tilted wash-board potential. The 'flux velocity', i.e. the averaged time derivative of the total magnetic flux in the ring, is a candidate for a novel characteristics of mesoscopic rings. Its global properties reflect the possibility of...
